Tips for the reading part

Multiple choice

Read the questions first and underline the key words.
The questions follow the order of the text.
Look for synonyms: the text rarely uses the same words as the options.
Answer only from the text, not from what you know.

Gap fill and word formation

Read the whole sentence before you choose.
Ask: noun, verb, adjective or adverb? Plural? Past?
Check the small words around the gap: a / the / to / been / more.
Spelling counts. Check double letters.
